- Love this place! The hot pots are so good. They have a huge menu! I can get a hot pot while my husband gets the pad Thai & we can both get a couple sushi rolls to go with. Everything is fresh & yummy!
- Douglas ArevaloNovember 18, 2014Surf and turf is an awesome selection with the mushroom base soup! Not only does that base provide great taste but the surf and turff provides both meats and seafood! Great place and environment!
- Nancy MargolisAugust 30, 2019Delicious!!! We have gone here a few time and love it. The food is delicious and filling. The waiters are friendly and helpful in ordering. Just make sure to call ahead, there is always a wait.
- This place is AMAZING for the price. You can get two entrees for under $25 and hot pot for two under $20. It's all the greatness of Chinatown in a classy setting with a GREAT playlist.
- Hands down best hot pot. I live in San Francisco (with some of the BEST Asian food in the US) and nowhere here rivals Q for hotpot.
- Jessica HiemenzMay 23, 2014Lots of hot pot options for vegans and vegetarians too!! Most of the broths can be made vegetarian and they have a ton of veggie a la carte additions!
- Boston PhoenixFebruary 15, 2012For hot pot: our critic recommends the black-bone chicken broth, broccoli, udon noodles and mushrooms or green-tea shrimp, chili beef stew...or even just sautéed shiitake mushrooms and greens
- Sandeep AlluriJuly 9, 2018Their shrimp and chicken house fried rice is decent. Note to self: To order the Mongolian hotpot, which seems to be the popular item, from looking at other tables next to me.
- Diana SanbornMarch 22, 2016The Mongolian hot pot is a must! If you like a little bit of spice, definitely try the tomyum with the basic broth.
- Great hot pot date night spot. If you're not caught up on the decor, shabu zen down the street is a couple points better imo.
- AliDecember 12, 2017Top-notch kimchi broth. Fresh and hi quality ingredients. Comfy seats. What else can you ask for?
- The Mala broth with boneless short rib and udon noodles is amazing!!! 🍜
- IG MorrisonJuly 28, 2013Awesome food. The whole broth cook your own element always adds a nice extra layer of theatre....
- Alanna WitzJanuary 1, 2014Really good, there is so much food! Try the beef hot pot, the broth is bland at first but an amazing soup by the end
- Alicia KosasihNovember 5, 2014Mala Broth & Blackened Chicken Broth make a good combination for dinner on a(nother) chilly day in Boston! 👍😛
- Less adventurous than most China town spots, decent mix of Chinese, hot pot, and sushi - try the Mai Tai
- Joanna HuangJanuary 19, 2013Fried ice cream is the way to go. The breading tastes like a Chinese donut. AND THEY HAVE AZUKI ICE CREAM
- JamieAugust 12, 2012Hot pot's fun to order. Mali broth was too spicy for me, but Tom yum broth with beef, lamb, baby book choy, and fried tofu skin was good.
- Sheila ThomsonAugust 14, 2014They were playing a great selection of club and house tracks the night I was there. Not too loud for conversation though.
- Steinar BjeMarch 17, 2015Fantastic food. Great price. Server Phanna from Mongolia was super good. Highly recommend 😊
- Courtney AndradeDecember 23, 2012Tomyum and kimchi broths are delicious! And the surf and turf platter is good along with the pork slices
- Kay RhodesFebruary 8, 2016The Tom Yum broth is great, the Black Bone Chicken was ok. Our table was split on which broth was best.
- If you come here to celebrate your birthday, there is a man with an amazing voice who will sing to you!
- Livia DinuAugust 12, 2014Try the Mala flounder fillet! It's the best - and the black fungus appetizer!
- Sheila ThomsonAugust 14, 2014The Kung pao chicken is delicious. Knowledgeable and helpful staff too.
- Senator John BlutarskiOctober 14, 2011Get a side order of Dan Dan noodles! Surprisingly light, the broth alone is good enough to drink. Eat!
- Tainah M.April 16, 2016Great food, but service is severely lacking in attentiveness and friendliness. The veggie baskets are quite unhygienic, too (the holes allow fingers and hair to touch the food). Won't come back.
- AliApril 15, 2019They serve better quality meat here than in Shabu Zen, but I like Shabu’s broth better.
- Amy S.April 8, 2012Request Johnny! He's the best waiter...will talk you through the shabu-shabu experience.
- JoanieAugust 28, 2011By far my favorite hotpot place on the east coast. Def try the black chicken soup
- Senator John BlutarskiOctober 14, 2011If you like spicy food, the Mala hot pot broth is out of this world. Eat!
- This new Mongolian Hotpot and Sushi Lounge just opened today. It's the reincarnation of the old 'Little Q' in Quincy.
