Actually it's irrelevant if or when they deliver gas and when your fill up. That's why they have filters at every pump and most stations don't run bone dry where incoming gas disturbs anything

If you see an 18 wheeler refilling the gas tanks don't fill up! All the trash rises to the top and goes into your car. (true for all gas stations)
