You can use your ticket to go during the day and then come back again at night to see the kiwi birds. A nice place to see some of New Zealand's native birds as well as feed the trout & see a tuatara

Come in early so you can enjoy the whole experience! Don't forget to come back at night with their all day ticket to see 4 kiwi in their night enclosure!

Go at night and see the Kiwi birds. Rest your hand on the stone wall and stay very still - a curious kiwi may come over and sniff your hand with its beak!

Saw a kiwi born yesterday and one 2 days old. Plus young ones digging and running around. Good stuff being done here.

The animals have moved to a new enclosure not gone altogether. Project Big Splash will add a completely new dimension to this business in early 2012. Follow http://projectbigsplash.com for updates

Really lovely day out but they have ditched the animals and really are just a bird park, at $30 per adult, it's too much money.
