This is a bit of downtown, a bit of food and a bit of nature rolled into one. I would have added Sunday cabaret at Dante's but it's not every week. Go if you can!
amy Dubin: Worth it for the view if it's a nice day. Food is okay at happy hour, but I wouldn't pay more for it. I like to go there if I have to wait awhile for a MAX or bus at Pioneer Square, just below.
amy Dubin: Gorgeous lobby with an awesome fireplace. If you're walking around downtown and it's chilly, stop in to warm up and have a drink in their handsome lounge.
amy Dubin: Great place to pick out some chocolate for yourself and gifts. You might think, wow, $8-$14 for a bar of chocolate? That's probably what you'd spend on an average stocking stuffer. Do it!
amy Dubin: Sauvie Island is a great place to drive around! Make sure you get a parking pass once you've crossed the bridge at the little provisions store. The beaches are great and nude at the very end.

amy Dubin: Back Stage behind the Bagdad is an awesome pool room with an 80 foot ceiling and vintage backdrop of the Taj Mahal. Two private rooms upstairs. Hands down my fave pool hall in PDX.
amy Dubin: Love the Happy Hour by the fireplace, though sadly it's not as warm as you think it ought to be. Prices great, food good, service fast. Check, check, check. Cool ass restaurant too!

amy Dubin: Super fun arcade that has a full bar, food, glowy tables and fun geeky events. I like to just choose from one of the 50 pinball games they have and lose gracefully to my boyfriend. Always fun!
