A delightful journey into the culture and nature of America’s largest river system. Walk aboard historic steamboats, interact with wildlife (stingraypetting), learn about river history & folklore.
There's a National Landmark Vessel in the harbor of the Boatyard Plaza, the William M. Black... whether it's history, boats or both you're interested in, you'll find it here at the Museum & Aquarium!
This museum continues to grow and add more exhibits all the time...so much more to see than the last time we were here - you almost run out of time to see it all. Definitely worth the admission cost!
Very disappointing. Guide looked at me like I was crazy when I stopped her description of all of the aquariumattractions to ask about historical information about the river.
Where fun & learning flow together! This 10-acre river campus includes the Mississippi River Center & National River Center w/ connecting Mississippi Plaza.
