Formerly known by a lot of names (Mystic, Jeanie's, etc.), this spot overlooks the plants & gardens of neighboring "The Great Outdoors." Pretty secluded feeling despite its location.

Formerly the Garden District Coffeehouse, Jeani's ("Jeanie's" if you read the store sign carefully) Java is very quiet and cozy for you to relax and enjoy a quick cup of coffee. Local bean roaster.

After some pretty good sandwiches one can go out to the adjacent The Great Outdoors. Great activity combo.

The last thing I expect at a coffeeshop is to receive a sarcastic comment from an employee about the heels I'm wearing. Yet that's what happened.
