- Zac ZellersMarch 22, 2015a great little trattoria with a small & focused menu. what you see really is what you get here; there were no surprises or flourishes in food or service. burrata, funghi risotto, squid ink linguine.
- The kale Caesar salad is unreal. Everything I've ever had has been amazing, but my favorite is the Fusilli with pesto. The tiramisu is better than any I've ever tasted. You can't go wrong with Saggio.
- Nicole ChecoJuly 31, 2015Hands down best pancakes youve ever eaten! Delicious. Their meatball ragu eggs are pretty good too. I absolutely love brunch in this place!
- Everything here is amazing and staff is great. Been coming here the past few years and it's my fave in the neighborhood by far. Sautéed calamari and rigatoni kills it.
- Nikki 🌺April 18, 2016Yummy brunch and great prices! Will have to come back for dinner. Menu selection looks amazing.🇮🇹🍷🍝
- Marc SingerJanuary 2, 2022The octopus was great. The pappardelle was decent but didn’t make us feel like we were having a singular experience. The grilled octopus and the shaved fennel salad, though, were both notable.
- Carmen NappaFebruary 1, 2014The BLT is amazing. We also tried the fig gelato. It's got fig chunks! Awesome. Worth a try.
- Jonathan HMarch 23, 2014Service was great. Food was very very good. Really nice Italian meal. If you are in the neighborhood, it is worth a trip for sure!
- Stephen PetreyNovember 11The spaghetti & meatballs are to die for. Ask about their rotating specials. Don’t sleep on the burrata raviolis either
- Aaron GyapongMay 26Got the Squid Ink pasta. W salmon, shrimp and muscles!!! Delicious! Calamari was very crispy, and well seasoned. Really good!!!
- Mayjaun BurrauhnJanuary 12, 2012The calamari app was very filling. Anything with red sauce is delicious here. Not too impressed with the spgti al limone, it was salty. Service and dessert was super good. Will be back.
- Tip well cause you will 100% come back and the staff is amazing. Order the rigatoni for an affordable huge meal and ask the staff for anything cause they're very accommodating.
- Bruce C.January 11, 2012Delicious Italian fare. Nice ambiance. Moderate prices but if you get drinks your bill for two nears $90. Try the Rigatoni Alfredo w/Black Kale--awesome! Lisa is the best server in the house!
- Mariana LOctober 24, 2012Roast chicken with mashed potatoes doesn't seem like what you should order, but it was great. Good pasta specials. Also love the burrata and avocado crostini
- Rev. HuberSeptember 11, 2011The beet salad is sublime beetness playing off bitter greens. Excellent. Black linguini with calamari was a huge portion, and very tasty. Great place, great staff, and the bartender is awesome.
- Gnocchi is my fave so far. The citrus spaghetti is just ok, even with the anchovies. Well made cocktails and good wine selection.
- The Corcoran GroupApril 1, 2011Soak in the ambiance at this reasonably priced Italian hangout. Try the cheese and meat plate, the spaghetti lemonia and roasted garlic bread.
- Shanna NevelzJune 9, 2017Outdoor space is a neighborhood treat! Found it strange when I had to pay extra for parmesan cheese. I prefer to go a few stops south to Harlem/Hamilton Heights for Italian.
- Fantastic. Got gluten free penne with meatballs (not gluten free) and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfect.
- Tania BeaconAugust 30, 2014Happy hour! If only it was later on weekends! Good squid ink pasta and great service.
- Natalie LeMossFebruary 5, 2023The bottomless brunch is great! Try the grilled cheese and tomato soup
- Oliver AdrianceJune 24, 2012Great food, fast service... a little too fast. Got our appetizers, salads, and entrees within less than 5 minutes. Let us enjoy the food!
- The burrata is amazing. In season, the sweet corn soup is also perfect.
- Catarina RiveraOctober 16, 2011This place is amazing. Great wine, cozy ambiance, attentive staff, creative specials, and cheap brunch.
- Wendy D.January 19, 2014If you order the steak and eggs... One of us got toast, another no toast, and I got toast and potatoes. I won.
- The food is fantastic! The lamb ragu is quite good and the fish soup is sublime. Also, any of the crostinis are good.
- The fusile with pesto is so fresh and delicious. I get the kale Caesar salad EVERY Time. Heaven.
- Food and service here are both excellent! Can't believe it took this long for a decent italian restaurant to open in Washington/Hudson Heights.
- We're big fans of the Saggio Cesar. Kale & a delicious dressing...
- Bruce C.December 28, 2011The gnocchi is tasty but usually overcooked. Polenta with gorgonzola appetizer rocks the house. A few decent vegetarian options--wish they would add more.
- Burata is amazing. Fig gelato is amazing. Teddy the waiter is amazing. What a great little spot
- The BEST Italian food for the price you will find in the city. Absolutely delicious.
- I really enjoyed the kale Caesar here. It's a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
- The Tawny Port 12-year is a nice after-dinner drink.
