Sals Famous Tasty Tamales

Tamales Are a Tradition in Mexican Families and Are Native From Mexico Dating Back Many Centuries.

Tamales are traditionally made for the holiday season but we do make Pork Tamales year round. Our tamales are freshly made with masa, fresh made mole, hand cooked pork. Our Tamales are then hand-spread, filled and rolled, and prepared for steaming. When looking for an extra indulgence for your event, then let Sal's Tamales be on your menu. Please call the location of your choice to place your order…just don't forget the Chips and Salsa!

Sal's Mexican Restaurant Reheating Tamales Instructions

Stove Top

In a large pot pour 2 to 3 inches of water, bring to a boil. Place tamales in a steam basket or metal colander. Place basket or colander in the pot (water should not touch the tamales) . Cover and steam for 20 to 30 minutes.

Microwave

Cover bottom of microwave safe casserole dish with 1/4 inch of water. Place tamales in dish, cover with lid or plastic wrap. Microwave for approximately 10 minutes on high. Time will vary with oven and number of tamales heated.

Tostada Compuesta

A crisp corn tortilla spread with refried beans then topped with shredded beef, chicken or ground beef. Topped with lettuce, cheese, tomato, sour cream and guacamole.

Petite Fancy Burrito Dinner

Beans and your choice of chili con carne or chili verde in a Sonora style flour tortilla topped with more chili and melted jack cheese. Served with rice and beans.

One Item Combination

Choose one from the following items: Enchilada, Taco, Chili Relleno, Quesadilla or Burrito. Choice of shredded beef, chicken or ground beef. Served with rice and beans.

Chimichanga Dinner

A flour tortilla filled with your choice of chicken, shredded beef or ground beef, rice cheese and mole sauce. Deep fried to a golden brown. Topped with sour cream and guacamole. Served with rice and beans.

Banquet Menu Two

Fajita Tostada

A bowl shaped flour tortilla filled with refried beans, chunks of carne asada or grilled chicken, fajita vegetables, lettuce, cheese and topped with sour cream and guacamole.

Enchilada Suizas

Two chicken enchiladas topped with chili verde sauce and garnished with sour cream. Served with rice and beans.

Two Item Combination

Choose one from these: Enchilada, Taco, Chili Relleno, Quesadilla or Burrito. Choice of shredded beef, chicken or ground beef. Served with rice and beans.

Fancy Burrito Dinner
