- I absoutely love the food, but since they've expanded, service has been very spotty. Your best bet is to avoid peak weekend dining hours- you'll end up waiting forever to order and to get the check!
- Shivaram KrishnanDecember 9, 2011The medhu vada, Mysore masala dosa and madras coffee... Awesome!!! Closest it comes to the SBs in Chennai
- The mini tiffin is the best way to hack south Indian food here.
- Get the mysore dosa and the idli starter. Go up the street to Bhojan for real chaas.
- Food is great, no doubt. Waiters + service, quite below average. Worth spending if you just want to enjoy delicious South Indian food.
- As others have said the service leaves a lot to be desired, but even if you tip well, you'll still be asked to leave almost immediately after paying the bill. Great dosas, though.
- Delicious, reasonable, authentic. Mix the sides & spread generously.
- The main dining room is closed. They're only doing business in the second half of the restaurant.
- 14piece idli is amazing but my count on two occasions had less than 14 idlis.
- Daniel MaliaFebruary 3, 2019Prices have gone up from the one provided here. Expect to pay 10-20 for an entree
- Daan V.October 27, 2011I have stopped eating Indian food after a couple of bad experiences in both Istanbul and Amsterdam, but this is unlike any Indian food I've ever had. Don't go here for a dim lit dinner though.
- Suman GanguliApril 8, 2010paper masala dosa! mix up the aloo with the sambar and chutneys..and finish off the meal with a Madras coffee
- "besh besh, romba nananna irundhadhu.. Sambhar, enna sambhar, sharavana odu sambhar".. :D..
- Sree BhandaramSeptember 3, 2013This was my second visit and unfortunately, the service and food left me quite disappointed. They were out of a number of items on the menu and the service was slow. I'm not sure I'll go back again.
- Bala AmirthaganesanSeptember 19, 2015Very crazy crowded and almost no privacy should you take a two seater table
- Peter LadaJune 28, 2012Home of the soggy Dosa. Super disappointing, this chain's locations in other cities are significantly better!
- The Kaima Idlly is a good pick if you're feeling adventurous
- Get the parotta. Comes with curry and potatoes, enough for a meal, and Saravana's is done perfectly flaky!
- Vegan Thali lunch is a great deal ($8). Delish and filling variety.
