If you love Poke bowls (found in Hawaii), this doesn't exist in Buffalo or Rochester. Leave a customer comment to them with your bill, recommending it as a weekly lunch special so they will make it!

You can request them to make you Poke. They can deny you, but they can say yes. It's $15 and as good as it gets in Hawaii. So fresh. If unbusy, request it!

Even if you don't like a traditional Beef on Weck sandwich, try the Beef on Weck Roll. For a place with mediocre sushi, it makes sense that the standout roll is based on a local beef sandwich.

fish tacos are fantastic but the creamy eel roll is absolutely amazing- even if you don't think you'll like eel. definitely need to follow up with japanese-style beer. sapporo is my favorite.

The Tiger Eye Roll is THE BEST. I'd also recommend the BBQ salmon. But you can't go wrong with anything so invite a bunch of friends and order multiple rolls to share!

The loco moco is surprisingly tasty just have the gravy on the side. Quite frankly you don't need the gravy.

When Chef Dan is working behind the counter, get sashimi. He will put a tiny unique topping on each piece: salmon roe, smokey-lava salt, scallions, etc!
