Even if you don't have the cash to wander into any of the museums or attractions, it's worth walking around Seattle Center and just to take a stroll and see the sights there for free.
Great on a beautiful day! Stop by the Museum of Pop Culture and buy a discounted pass for other exhibits in Seattle Center (Chihuly Glass Museum, the Space Needle, etc.)!
Lots of great vendors at Urban Craft Uprising this time! I highly recommended attending this event in the Summer or Winter time. Support local artists and buy gifts for friends and family here!
I saw the Arab Festival here last week and it was really incredible. The center was very nicely laid out with easy access to different venues and great views.
This is a veritable cornucopia of arts, cultural attractions, theatres, and museums! Something for everyone, especially when weather is nice and not rainy, which probably isn't often!
A great urban center for people of all ages. Free exhibitionspark space and great museums! Space needle, EmP, science center, armory, chihulyGarden, stadiums, international fountain! I love it here!
The view from the top of the needle is priceless and worth every cent. Some people have lived here too long and are spoiled by the beauty of Seattle. Don't take it for granted.
Check out the Earth Portal - a mind-blowing 25-minute guided tour of the universe projected in a mini planetarium - between the Center House and the EMP, just north of the monorail station.
Sit down in the crowd for an interesting new view of the world! Someone might put their hand down the back of their pants for an excitingly long amount of time. What a treasure!
Check the SC website often for events and happenings because they have so many affiliations with nonprofits in the community that you could miss a once-in-a-lifetime event right under your nose?!!
AMAZING BEADING CLASSES TOO! Beading workshops all weekend. Workshops on wire-work, making earrings and her patented pearl knotting technique. The CLASSES ARE FREE w/purchase of the $10 class kit.
The heart of Seattle's arts and culture - home to the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project, The Children's Museum, & more! Monorail runs directly between downtown & here.
The $14 for the Space Needle is totally worth it. Plan so you can stay awhile, grab a drink and watch the light change over the spots & neighborhoods of Seattle.
