- Ciara MernaghOctober 13, 2013Long queue, but we kept moving. Fries were really nice but I wasn't too impressed with the burger. Not worth the price and could have been a bit warmer. Glad I went once but wouldn't queue again
- Easy SergeApril 10, 2015Pretty rubbish really. Got a double shack burger, fries and strawberry shake. Prices ridiculously high for what you get. Burgers very basic, only special if you've never eaten anything but McDonald's.
- Andrew DavidsonSeptember 6, 2017This place used to be great on the many times I went previously. This time it took 20 mins to wait after placing order, the burger looked pathetic and the chips were cold. Also wasn't any ketchup.
- Paul in LondonAugust 31, 2013For all the hype it is just a glorified MacDonalds... Just with more grease and less atmosphere
- Nicholas LativyJuly 6, 2013If you're waiting more than ten minutes after ordering ask for assistance as their buzzer system is a bit unreliable.
- Ice KalkavanDecember 18, 2013Burger is tasty but too small for the price. Try gbk or byron if really hungry.
- Tom WhitbrookJuly 13, 2013Shakes great, burgers ok, fries not so good. Personally preferred nearby Five Guys
- Christis Phoebus JasonJanuary 18, 2016The burgers are just ok. Nothing special for that kind of waiting and price. Gets really busy on weekends.
- Nelson CorreiaSeptember 7, 2015Not bad, but overrated. Not as good as Five Guys (nearby) and miles away from Meat Market (very close). Worth a try, but that's it.
- ChdhurrySeptember 28, 2013Not that great really. I remember it being amazing in NYC, this London branch was only that much better than a McDonald's
- Robert JonesSeptember 24, 2014The shakes are amazing, but the burgers, whilst nice are small and overpriced - Five Guys is a far better choice.
- Val • Rainy LondonAugust 24, 2013Too fast-food-ey for my liking. Byron is better quality, more comfy, has metal cutlery & fries are waaaay better. Also, they don't come inundated with cheese... Not impressed considering all the hype!
- Daniel RawrNovember 17, 2013Overhyped... Sloppy greasy burgers, cheese sauce on fries is horrible £26 for 2 burgers and a drink!! Just go Byron proper sized burger proper meat! 5/10 for Shake Shack
- Roman MittermayrSeptember 12, 2015It's getting worse every time I come here. I used to be such a fan, but it's become a disgrace. McDonalds' Hamburger is probably the worst, but the dry, bland Smokeshack is very close, sadly.
- Tom MansellSeptember 6, 2013Burgers are... okay, but not the best in town. Don't get a double - too greasy. The fries and shakes are worth the trip though.
- Russ WhiteApril 5, 2014It's a McDonalds handburger for twice the price - what's not to like! ...... :-/
- Dan HollandAugust 30, 2014Decent burger but not quite New York and doesn't quite match; Honest, Dirty, Bleecker etc. more posh Maccie Ds. Awesome though
- ChristinaJuly 16, 2013Smoke shack is pretty tasty, single is enough, tho the bun is disappointing (too soggy). People hyped about the fries but they were not crispy- disappointing!
