I love love love this place. It doesn't try to be jack of all trades. The kimchi is very unique and very good. If you're in a group, get the galbi jim. The oxbone soup is heavenly on a cold day.
Super legit. Opens late. Get the fire spice chicken with rice cake AND cheese if you can handle your spice. The boiled pork with spicy daikon is very good too.
New place on Noriega. The burgers are solid. Sweet potato tots are good but portion size is small. Check in on yelp for a free fountain drink.
Nice large off the grid. Gets very crowded so there are long lines. Gets pretty windy too.
Great view of the bridge. Nice to run through. Near the presidio and palace of fine arts.
Nice selection of items. But proximity to Dolores Park makes it prohibitive on weekends.
Nice little uphill hike. Great panoramic view of the city. Gets quite windy so bring a jacket. Kinda bare so not great for a picnic. Bottom of the hill contains many good places to eat.
I love this wine shop. They have a good variety of wine, spirits, and even a small sake selection. The staff are very nice and helpful if you need suggestions.
Lovely "park" in the middle of downtown. Right next to the metreon. Samovar has a nice view.
Nice Vietnamese fast food. The bahn mi's are decent. I like their bun and rice bentos too.
