Go on the night tour to see the turtles nesting! I have heard some guests saying it's too expensive. It is not. You will have a once in a lifetime experience getting up close to the turtles.
The food is pretty good but this place is especially good for its atmosphere. Young, hip, gay and straight patrons have a good time in a contemporary setting inside an old colonial building.
One of my favourite museums. Changeling exhibitions only, no permanent collection. Visit and re-visit whenever you can and do not miss their annex in Felix Meritis.
Wonderful modern art museum with changeling exhibitions. Not the MoMa, but especially nice if you are interested in Dutch art and design.
Obviously the grilled steaks are awesome. Great atmosphere and a welcome escape from the rest of the rather poor eating choices in San José.
