- Nathan WoodOctober 26, 2016This was my first time here! The roller-coaster where fantastic! It was beautiful and the shops where pretty! And don't get me started on the food😱 it was absolutely amazing! I got potatoe twists
- We love SDC. Christmas is the busiest time it seems. The lights are beautiful. Roller coasters are fun and the shows are great. I like going in the spring the best.
- Jeff SullivanJune 13, 2018Go after 3PM to Silver Dollar City and the entire next day is free! I have lived in Branson since 1993.
https://www.bransoncheaptickets.com/are-silver-dollar-city-season-passes-worth-the-money/ - Andrea RiveraDecember 6, 2014I love everything about this place! I've been going here since I can remember and it's never a let down! Good to visit during any season, but I love Christmas because of the decorations and the shows!
- Karen KonkelDecember 29, 2019Great family fun. Fire in the Hole is classic! Great roller coasters 🎢! Fun play areas for kids. Beautiful during Christmas with millions of twinkling lights and a great parade multiple times a day!!
- Jenna Rose RobbinsOctober 21, 2013The most authentic theme park I've ever visited. No fake plastic "log cabins" -- it's all the real deal, and some of the sights are historic landmarks. Tons of trees keep the park cool and beautiful.
- Jodi MaloneApril 23, 2013Outlaw Run is a total KICK ASS FUN rollercoaster! Best seat is row 1, passenger side. Other great seats are Row 11, passenger side, Row 12 passenger side. Fantastic air time and fast!! LOVE IT!!
- Martin LewisonJuly 28, 2015Head over to Cakes and Cones behind Magnificent Wave Carousel for some amazing funnel cakes, like the "hot" Fire House Special!
- Change is always going to happen, and I think every time the show changes it's for the better! Make sure you see this before you leave, one of the best shows! Also get there early for great seats!
- Denisa ScottMarch 17, 2013Trust me, we went from open to close which was 9 to 6 and i didnt get to see the entire park. We upgraded to season passes for $80 double of you want white water. WORTH IT!!
- Eric WMarch 27, 2014Great for kids, lines move pretty slow but the rids are good and it was a very kid friendly environment, as with most in Branson they do offer a military discount!
- If you plan on coming at Christmas try to come on a Thursday. The park is packed on Saturdays and very busy on Friday and Sunday. But Thursdays in December are very nice.
- Julian TillmanMay 1, 2015During the school year, visit during the week for rides (older adults don't ride rides) and on weekends for shows (younger families skip out on some shows).
- Chris BurgessApril 21, 2012Silver Dollar City is the best theme park in the world. I have been coming here since 1974 and it never gets old. They have created many memories for my family
- Beth ConleyMarch 25, 2014Always a family favorite!! Every year, every visit, it's tradition.... And the funnel are awesome!!
- Tasha MaplesJuly 23, 2011Family friendly fun! Fire in the hole is my all time fave ride. Love the skillet food! Buy a mug for drinks if you plan on coming a lot. It will save you money on drinks
- I always love our time at Silver Dollar City. It is truly a great family theme park. Great rides, shops, food, shows, and so much more.
- Mark MuehlebachOctober 7, 2011it is a bit pricey ($55) but it is a good place to visit when you are in the Ozarks, check out the crafts and make sure you buy the bread and the taffy to take back home
- Going to SDC for Christmas is a MUST!! And make sure you go at night so you can appreciate the lights...it's worth it!
- Kennedy SchwartzJuly 18, 2015I suggest the outlaw rollar coaster it's really fast and once at the end of the line since it's so fast you'll be there in 15 minutes. 🐴 yeha Cowboys!
- Kat KalistaDecember 4, 2017Everything! Christmas time is extremely special but extremely packed! We love going in the summer and spring too!
- David CollinsJune 9, 2021They don’t do the next day free if you visit after 3pm anymore. Just FYI. But always fun. Season pass is the only way to go. Way too much for one day visit.
- Fun place but please hire more people to work the food lines. Longstanding joke is to order your dinner when you order your lunch because that's how long it will take to get it.
- Phyllis BoxJune 19, 2019Stealyerdollarcity! $250. For 2 season passes. Shows were cheesy. Not much selection of rides, either fast coasters or for small children. Once you enter it’s a lot of high price shopping & food! 👎
- T BrentonJune 23, 2015Good family oriented park. Get the two day pass as one day is not enough time to get it all knocked out!
- Taryn MelvilleAugust 8, 2012On vacation? Set aside a couple days to go, so much to do not enough time! Ride Fire In The Hole, Wildfire & Powder Keg. They hve misters, sprinklers & a few water rides 2 keep u cool on a hot day :)!
- Mark ShadeMay 19, 2013Buy a ticket and use it the first day after 3pm and still have access to the park the next day! I bought a 2-day pass and used this technique to attend the park on three consecutive open days!
- Southern LivingFebruary 15, 2012Made our South's Best List! Visit this re-creation of a 1880s style mining town with theme-park thrills and history lessons for the whole family. Read more
- Shane- LevellSeptember 25, 2017It was a good day except for there was only two rides open(because of the lightening) and the ticket agent☹️ She was pretty rude☹️ I'll pray for her🙏💒🙏
- Jason BerryNovember 20, 2017It was so crowded I couldnt get to enjoy anything. I paid $66 per ticket to stand still for 3 hours and didn't see anything. After being so frustrated from the experience I decided to leave.
- Sue SavageNovember 11, 2018Hasn't changed that much since I was going in the 70s, except they added more roller coasters. Love it!
- Tori StrotherJuly 7, 2015It's very fun to watch the glass makers but I'm guessing most people like the rides. I wish celebration city was still around. It was way better I feel bad for people who didn't get the chance to go.
- Hannah AskewJuly 17, 2013Really cool amusement park! Go when it's drizzly, though. Too many lines when it's sunny, even if it's a weekday!
- Use the SDC app to find a daily schedule of shows and check the wait time for most rides.
- Best time to go is on a Sunday in the Fall; short lines and not a lot of foot traffic to slow u down!
- Buy a season pass early in the year. Great deal and you get free passes to bring a friend.
- If you plan to make any return trips, buy a souvenir mug. You can reuse them yr after yr and still only pay the refill price for drinks.
- Christi GallagherNovember 13, 2011If you come at Christmas time, the Living Nativity Show is a MUST SEE! The narrator is fantastic!
- Don't forget what lot number you are in. Sometime walking is faster then waiting on the tram.
- Michael ParishJuly 10, 2021Poorly run theme park, most of the rides were broken at some point during the day. Make sure you get in line for lunch before 11am or expect to wait over a hour for food.
- Braeden WintersOctober 7, 2012I'm scared of roller coasters but fire in the hole helped me out. The interactive water coasters were awesome too.
- The entire park has an authentic old-timey feel, except for the credit card machines.
- Elizabeth WongJuly 30, 2013Outlaw Run was the best wooden roller coaster I have been on, and the only one that goes upside down!
- Samantha RaperJuly 23, 2013Like Walmart only having 2 registers open, they only had 2 ticket windows open on the first night of Moonlight Madness. Also, when the weather turned bad near closing time, no rain checks were issued.
- Hannah Meyers💚June 11, 2012Be prepared for walking up and down hills! And if you are physically able, do the cave tour!
- Claudia GreenAugust 3, 2011If you arrive after 3:00 pm, you get in the next day for free. The park closes at 1000 pm during the summer.
