- Mike WinstonJune 2, 2017An absolutely amazing, carefully curated tasting menu experience that combines seasonal CA ingredients with traditional Japanese techniques & sensibilities. Read all about it on WinstonWanders.com
- Angela Z.June 3, 2017Plan to start your reso for sunset on the rooftop. Service is exquisite and food was amazing. Cherrywood smoked salmon was my fav. We also split a (very generous) wine pairing.
- Jon B.November 7, 2017Outstanding two Michelin star restaurant that is only getting better in time. Start out with a shareable platter, then finish with an assortment of dishes. Their Somm did a great job pairing wine too.
- Island BruinMay 23, 2018Phenomenal food and service. It takes 3 hours to eat dinner, but it is so well paced that you don’t notice the time. Non-wine pairing was good. We also added some glasses of wine.
- JKJuly 29, 2021Speciality includes Pumpkin tartare with Dungeness crab, Smoked Ora king salmon with Arctic char roe & Japanese cheesecake
- KidhackOctober 21, 2019Tip / gratuity is no longer included in the total. We had to compute tip without the receipt / subtotal, so we guessed. Not the most pleasant way to end an amazing experience.
- Went there again after 2 months, the menu changed, so delicious.
- Kitt HodJuly 16, 2019Be sure to say yes to the roof top experience, especially at sunset. Food, drinks, and experience are amazing.
- Prins PoloSeptember 12, 2021Didn’t live up to expectations. Food trying too hard to be Japanese (but failing), robot-like waiters. Way below Manresa (***) or Harbor House (*) for me.
