- get the gold membership you receive free season parking. Also good to get is the season dinner plan it's worth it. Every time you visit the park you get lunch and dinner.
- John ManganJuly 15, 2013Families - invest in the refillable drink cups. Note that note every station has the same drinks (example, only some carry Powerade). Buy a pizza and two breadstick orders for lunch (~$24) @ Primos.
- Gina SchwarzJuly 27, 2013Buy the drink bottles at the main gate and drink all day for free with the wrist band! Best deal. Go to the Alpine House for great food with sizes worth your money!
- Jessica SpezialeJuly 24, 2015Love this place! Rides are great! Foods expensive though! Stay away from the pizza. An employee had recommended the chicken fingers as the only thing to eat there. That's all we get now!
- A great little park, beautiful summer climate and great towns on both sides, Queensbury and Lake George.
- Trish FlorentineAugust 29, 2016Fun for all !! Nice water park too. Slides for 6+ and splash pirate ship for young kids.
- Great Time AppsOctober 16, 2013Plan your trip with the unofficial video ride guide for Six Flags Great Escape on iPhone and iPad. $1.99. Worth it. Read more
- A place where kids and adult enjoy alike. A nice place for family day out.
- Lonny BombardJune 26, 2018The problem is it is so expensive!! We took school children(5th grd) here for a class field trip and travelled almost 3hrs on 3 school buses to get to the park. That being said I won't be going back.
- Emily McGuireJuly 14, 2013Enter code HD13 for $26.99 tix. Print your tix and go any day. Use the code ASAP as the code may expire soon. Once you have printed your tix they will be good until Sep for any day you wish.
- Megan Stec MasonJuly 30, 2011Get the $13 unlimited refill reusable six flags cup. Totally worth it in this heat. Only bought one for the whole family because we can refill as many times as we want.
- hanibal obaidAugust 28, 2011Nice clean park, very short wait for all the rides, even the premier such as the comet, 10 minutes or less. Enjoyable park for everyone. RIDE THE COMET AND ENJOY!!!!
- DanNovember 30, 2014Come only if you have a small kid. I am too old to even stand in the queue. If there's no one waiting, try to ask the staff to pause the Ferris wheel for you and take pictures at the top.
- Robbin ManuelMay 27, 2013Food vouchers for the season is the way to go with worrying how to feed the crew!
- The Great Escape used to be fun. Prices are stupid high, not paying $15 for a fast pass, when there's 3 maybe 4 rides that have a line too use it on. Greedy chair hoarders in splash water kingdom.
- Great waterpark! Lots of seating, especially on a weekday.
- Nik GruswitzNovember 1, 2015Why do people think it's ok to dress up like other races? http://youtu.be/LxQq8HTtb4A
- Liz StropoleJuly 22, 2013coaster selection is disappointing and the park layout is backwards. basically if you want a water park and places to shop, then this is the place for you. not for the avid coaster rider.
- Autumn LokersonJuly 19, 2010The food is INSANELY priced and totally not worth it. Pack a picnic lunch and take a break halfway through your day, you'll save a ton of $$ and still have fun!
- Freddie EspositoJuly 15, 2015It was my first time there since it was StoryTown which was decades ago. I have to say I was not impressed and felt the outside services such as food and drinks was below average and very expensive.
- Bring your Russian translation manual or don't plan in communicating with park staff - none are American, Stalin would be proud!
- Julie CarpenterOctober 7, 2012It was a nice time....but my niece who looks little was given a hard time by a worker who thought she was going in the park by herself not very happy about it!!
- Six FlagsJune 23, 2010You can purchase The Great Escape discount admission coupons at Dunkin Donuts. $29.99 for general admission through July 16th and $35.00 till September 6th.
- Dirty GertJuly 14, 2013Slice of pizza $8.99. Draft beer $9.99. Yo six flags I have something YOU can eat. No charge.
- John ManganAugust 16, 2012Get $10 off general admission with one of these coupons found in most hotels and tourist areas.
- Phil DAugust 8, 2012Park closed without notification kids disappointed waiting more than 1 1/2 hrs. Useless help at food courts Inexcusable wait for rides letting empty cars go and fast pass people take the front seats.
- Korey McCoyJuly 7, 2021I hate to complain, but when a company deserves it they should hear about it. Ultimately, customer service dealing with a season pass issue is so horrible I can't even begin to start.
- Michael ParksOctober 3, 2010October is frightfest - watch out for guys wielding chainsaws! You may wish to leave small children at home through oct!
- Nattawat ApibalJuly 12, 2014This place could use management help....people here work slower than McDonald's....lines take forever for everything...from rides to food lines. Driving me nuts.
- Ryan MartinJuly 23, 2016Nice they have craft beers, food is decent but expensive.and $4 for a water is rediculous.
- Amy SquierJuly 2, 2014Not much to do here. Only three roller coasters. For a six flags they need to get it together or lower the price, not worth $55. Darien Lake is a lot better.
- When it rains bring swim suit lol soooo much fun no lines at all. :-)
- C McPJune 14, 2015Not everything comes with the meal plan big issue with lack of truth in advertising
- Very clean park, but mostly geared towards a younger crowd.
- Michael ParksOctober 3, 2010The food here is OBSCENELY expensive. Avoid at all costs and just eat before/after you go (if you have a strong stomach!)
