- I must say, Lauriana Mae gave me what the f*ck I needed! She is such an amazing talent and Kwame hasn't aged a bit. The show made up for the late start, so it's all good.
- imbookinOctober 27, 2011Rent a semi-private space or the whole restaurant at SOB's for your next event! We love the Bailamos Party Package (open sangria bar!) and the Bassa Brunch: http://ow.ly/7bc4S
- Telle ThomasJune 20, 2015My first time there was a pretty special event and I had a great time. Going back for a brunch at the end of this month and I'm looking forward to it.
- Kailin VillamarFebruary 28, 2015Great music and drinks. Somewhat expensive but a great time if you want to eat and have a dance floor after. Gets somewhat good after 1130pm, beware
- Silvia RinconJuly 3, 2013If you reserve a table make sure to do it in the earlier live shows, later the DJs sucks. If this is a traditional latin place then why do you have to play hip hop music?! It has no sense
- Shows can be hit or miss here depending on if the sound feels like behaving or not. No longer one of the BEST live venues in the city but still historic & legendary. STILL supporting hip-hop.
- Jazzie ChanelMarch 28, 2019This place was great for live music. Quick service at the bar with an eclectic crowd. Would def go back
- Avery GreenNovember 22, 2014Sol Village is amazing it showcases up can coming r&b artists once a month
- Washington Square HotelMay 22, 2012Opening in 1982, and known as the “Home of Universal Music," S.O.B.'s still features the ever popular Brazilian night. Great live music and dancing.

- Christian KingMarch 15, 2016Sol Village is dope every 3rd Wednesday. Ask for The dj Urban Philosopher... Cool dude. Great vibes
- Stephanie TanDecember 7, 2015Love the venue but bring cash. They add 20% gratuity on credit cards on already pricey drinks.
- Christi ThegirlkingApril 4, 2012Since you're here be sure to log on and check out www.urbanmusic.fm for the best in music, culture, leisure & style!
- Pavel LishinOctober 12, 2015Security is pretty thorough, and they confiscate writing implements like sharpies, so leave 'em at home.
- Steph FerreiraFebruary 19, 2012You have to get the espresso martini! If you love coffee it is an absolute MUST!
- Isaiah GreeneOctober 22, 2011Don't get there early. Shows always start late. Get there 2 hours after start time and go straight to the bar!
- BriskNovember 9, 2010"But by the "Black Album" I was blacking out,Partyin' S.O.B.'s and we had packed a crowd" - Kanye West "Last Call" Sourced from rapgenius.com.
- Journo GirlJanuary 26, 2014This is not a place to eat at. Drinks are aight. Miss the Spanish shows. PLZ! I mean like forget them, they are sooo dead.
- Latin lunch! The churrasco steak salad is to die for.
- Silvia B.May 18, 2012They split the line into 2 and let the group that arrived last in at the same time as those who arrived early. Annoying.
- Althea K.July 2, 2010Aside from the great musical performances, the Bossa Nova Brunch is a great reason to visit SOBs!
