- Andrew LamDecember 3, 2013Famed for their SLV cabernet sauvignon that beat Bordeaux at the 1976 Paris tasting, they still make some of the very best cabs in Napa. Tastings from $15. Not to be confused with Stags' Leap Winery!
- Johnny AnglesonJuly 26, 2015We did the fire and water tour and tasting. It was completely worth the price to have Ned teach us the fantastic history of the wine and the vineyards! Wines were fantastic w the food pairing!! Do it!
- Sherry LiJuly 30, 2015Newly renovated tasting room is pretty awesome. Two 4-wine flights, $25 and $40. Tasting fee is waived for two bottle purchase. Fay is the best cab. Sauv blanc is really good too.
- Zi WangMarch 12, 2018Great taste room. Bright view and modern decoration. 45 dollars for tasting 4 kinds of wines that are only available there. If you buy wines the taste fee can be waived.
- Brian JengMarch 20, 2017Lovely place to sample the Cask 23 wine that beat out all of the French wines in its category. It's not cheap ($230/bottle) so just do the $45 tasting. Great staff.
- M K WJuly 20, 2017Fantastic visit! We had "The Cellarius Kitchen Experience" - great wines, delicious food - chef Travis was on fire! Loved it!
- Kat 🐱May 31, 2016Nice view and relaxing atmosphere! I personally prefer their Fay over SLV. But Cask23 is even better!
- Barry GuettlerFebruary 21, 2019A must visit in Napa. Of the wines we tasted and the vineyards we visited Stag’s Leap was the best by far!
- Kathryn KeelingOctober 6, 2014The most incredible tasting room overlooking the vineyards, breathtaking! Wine experts were really knowledgable and extremely helpful. Well worth a trip, hope to return one day...
- Tania MartinezApril 4, 2016Excellent tour and the most delicious wines in Napa! Great tasting with cheese pairing.
- Chris VodolaJanuary 22, 2016Cab lovers rejoice! Try to reserve for good weather so you can enjoy the view.
- Victor TanOctober 5, 2014They just renovated the tasting room and it's a really awesome environment. Great views and awesome surroundings.
- George OetomoDecember 23, 2015cask 23 is awesome but do try their wine tasting. The Estate Collection is so good.... (9/10)
- Anne CollierJuly 26, 2019Loved the view from outdoor patio plus Arcadia Chardonnay and Fay Cab were awesome
- Ellie RountreeJune 25, 2011Lovely place to taste wines, buck up the $45 and do the tour, though. At tasting, tell them you're traveling, and they'll give you a free Wine Skin ($6 in Manhattan) with a purchase.
- Brian IbarraSeptember 14, 2014Great tour and beautiful scenery of the nearby mountains. ... plus the man made cave is so cool!
- Peter SDecember 27, 2010This is the winery that won the 1976 Paris tasting and put Napa on the map. This is Stag's Leap district's best, I highly recommend their Cask23! (the Stags' Leap Winery is no comparison)
- Sabina B.September 2, 2014Great wine, but known for their cabs, specifically. Spend some time here and take the tour!
- Know that you have visited one if the best kept secrets in Napa Valley it's time to head up to St Clement in St Helena for one of the most amazing views and single vyd cab selections!
- Kathryn KeelingOctober 6, 2014Breathtaking tasting room, wine experts were really knowledgable and extremely helpful.
- Mary ReynoldsMarch 28, 2012Amazing Cabs here. Beautiful tasting room and one of my favorite places I visited in Napa.
- Bre MillerApril 29, 201590 minute intimate tour Times: 10:00am and 2:30pm - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY $55 per Guest
- Steven KekichApril 14, 2013Josiah is an amazing host! Enjoy the estate wine tasting...simply amazing!
- sunilAugust 2, 2011Fabulous but expensive. Loved the 2005 Cask 23 Cab. The 2007 Merlot was very interesting too.
- Boston Wine FestivalDecember 15, 2011
- Make sure you meet Alejandro, best tasting I've ever had!
- Thomas DonnellyMarch 25, 2013Move on to another winery. Mediocre wines. Low flavor high alcohol and lots of heat on the finish for most wines here. Also really slow and pretentious service.
- John BobeldykJanuary 20, 2012note that Stag's Leap Winery www.stagsleap.com is not the same as Stag's Leap Wine Cellars www.cask23.com
- Matt KautzJanuary 16, 2011Extraordinary Cabernet Sauvignons. If you start here, prepare to be disappointed everywhere else.
- Callie BauerSeptember 6, 2014Overpriced tasting and not much interaction - skip it and try somewhere else.
- Meg JarrellJune 5, 2010Do not confuse this with the Stags Leap Winery...wines here are not as good. Staff doesn't seem that knowledgeable.
