Consistently great haircuts from every barber who's cut my hair here. The wait can be loooooooong, but if you have errands to run nearby (or not that nearby, depending on the wait), it's worth it.
Here is how you are going to wait for your turn: in the mornings — get a coffee at The Cro and a donut at Doughnut Dolly and wait. Afternoons — if you are nice, you can have a shot of Bulleit and wait
This place gives consistently snazzy cuts and the people the run this place are super friendly. They have expanded their square-footage and added 2 more chairs (from 3), with another on the way.
love this place, the cuts are great, and sometimes I have the two hours required to wait in line. If I don't that day, I book ahead with their sister place Al's in Alameda.
If you go to dickie, don't be alarmed when he whispers in your ear mid cut, "..... Is this how you like it", just calmly whisper back, "you know how I like it... Short on the sides long on the top"
Straight Razor Shave! If you haven't had one, do! Temescal Alley Barbers blends an old-school feel to getting a hair cut. Be prepared to sit and wait for about 45 minutes to get a spot
