Please never loose your boarding card as itbis too hectic to get another boarding card....

Self checkin kiosks at the lobby are a real boon for lugageless travellers.
Air India queues can be painful, so do a web check-in. Stamping hardly takes a minute at the first desk.
Confirmed, tried and tested!!No printouts of tickets needed anymore to enter the terminal.
Take care of your IDs... Especially your PAN cards, getting a duplicate can be a pain
It is chaotic at night.. It is worst then a railway station.. Good time to arrive is in the mornings or afternoon..
Please carry printouts of tickets. No electronic ticket (SMS, PDF etc) is valid. Per page printout is charged at RS. 100 by airline counter.
Gate A2 place is at peace,good place atleast in Indian terms and is right behind CCD
With goair if you've done a web check in, then they don't charge you Rs. 50 for the ticket print out
As of October 16, 2021 AirAsia also departs from Terminal 1.
Pathetic pathetic cab service. Crawling, longish queues, with none of the 4 registered radio taxis having a cab readily available. Need to take a lesson or two from IGIA's T3.
Beware of jet airways trying to make extra bucks by charging Rs 50 for a print out of your e-ticket!

Saurabh BanerjeeAugust 15, 2012Avoid Meru. Their cabs are not as clean as they used to be. The cab I got didn't even have a head rest! Try Tab cab. They have newer cabs with video.
Shops here are not very good. If you need to buy something is better to buy before you come here.
All Airlines Charging 100 Rupees for an E-Ticket Printout.... That's just Disturbing!! :-(
