Outstanding picks: Fiddlehead and shaved asparagus salad, grilled ramps with aioli, lamb chop with sour cherry gastrique and fennel farro, and unexpectedly delicious coffee for an after-dinner treat.

Delicious food and great wines. Get the half portions of appetizers, they are huge. Recommend the mushroom couscous and fried brussell sprouts apps. Yummy.

Dinner staff is extremely attentive to all needs. Food is way above average with creative dishes, but get full portions since half sizes are more lunch appropriate. Sides can feed 2-3.

"Most plates are available in full or half portions, with the latter generous enough for a meal. The waitstaff is sweet, quick with wine knowledge and happy to serve you." - November 2012 Issue

The nicest wine bar and shop in Northern Virgina. Wine section is broad and the menu choices in the restaurant are excellent.

Order a half portion of an entree, then add a side: about the same amount of food as a full order but more variety for a few $ less. Also: thoughtful beer selection.
