- MajkaAugust 24, 2014My favourite. This beautifully decorated venue serves food and drink in its cafe during the day and offers a jam-packed calendar of music events throughout the year. Do recommend.
- Great atmosphere. Has a large selection of vegan food (burgers, curries, nachos etc.) Check the specials board each day.
- Dave MilneDecember 21, 2018Great little venue upstairs in a historic building that’s an excellent place to see a band. Also a nice bar serving decent beer on the floor below & a decent little room for hire in the basement.
- Phat BuoySeptember 9, 2014Great venue for gigs. The floor upstairs literally bounces! Expensive drinks so get tanked up before u arrive or bring a hip flask
- Sam MJuly 29, 2015Good venue, sound was nice and clear, nice terrace too. Not great beer selection though better than many venues. Bar was a bit expensive, not unexpected.
- Mike CJuly 8, 2012Sweet potato chips in a bowl with mayo and sweet chilli dips are amazing with any beer. Well worth a slurp!
- Adam StroyanNovember 24, 2013Brilliant venue. Great food. Fantastic gig. Top night out. Will be back
- Chris PearceJuly 27, 2010Hands down the best music venue Manchester has to offer. Great drinks and grub on offer too. Treat yourself to the "famous" Trof Burger + Chips.
- Kelan ThomasMarch 10, 2013Goo party 2nd Saturdays for amazing 90s indie DJs, fantastic bar venue space
- Rachel ClaytonFebruary 1, 2011Food has become a bit basic recently but still reasonably priced. Loyalty card 2-4-1 offers on cocktails withdrawn too. Victims of the recession?! Bring back spicy fries!!
- Michael HoldsworthOctober 26, 2014Good venue and great music. But don't drink the real ale. Far too cold!
- Went on a wednesday and one of the barmen was extremely rude to myself and my friend on two seperate occasions. All other staff are very friendly though, especially during the day time.
- Simon CornwellOctober 17, 2011Cheap as chips cocktails! And Revolver on 3rd Sat on the month is an awesome 60s / Psychadelia night Read more
- Adam StroyanFebruary 20, 2014Food discounted if you are going to a gig at the venue. Result. Cracking food too.
- David PearsFebruary 24, 2011Touring bands: ask to use the upstairs flat. Sleeps 6/8 with a kitchen - save £'s for more beers downstairs.
- Alex WaddingtonAugust 12, 2010Have a look at the list of upcoming gigs - watching a gig is cosy and intimate, like being in your front room.
- Haw Alv AroAugust 17, 2012And a music venue has to have as WiFi password the name of a band... Yeah! ÇP·$
- Luke FosterMarch 28, 2016Charming venue but a shame they can't be bothered to provide decent toilets for customers, cubicle doors don't lock! Avoid the Trof beer too
- Sarah HAugust 22, 2010check out the dolly wallpaper in the toilets and the discussion about fur jackets on the toilet door :)
- When Juicy do a Friday/Saturday night you know its going to be a banger.
- Lewis SmithNovember 18, 2017They didn't have any real ales and what they did have were served in plastic cups
- Don't get real ale.. They'll charge you a fiver for it!
- Barman last night: "you'll have to wait for cocktails, I'd rather just pour beer mate." There's customer service for you. Not cool.
