ScoutmobNovember 29, 2011The Lynyrd Skynyrd album 'One More From The Road' was recorded at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in July of 1976. It was recorded as an effort to help save the Fox. Looks like it was a success.

Arrive early so you won't miss any of the show. The Fox also has the most efficient women's bathroom in town!
Ask about taking a tour when there's not a performance going on! It's fun for Atlanta visitors and residents!
christy drawdyJuly 25, 2017Using metal detector now.No guns mace or knives... disagree w/ no mace especially as a woman walking in Atlanta.homeless people walk right up to you after a show, so be alert. They should stop this.
HISTORYApril 19, 2010The theatre opened on December 25, 1929, just two months after the stock market crash. The Fox hosted the premiere of Walt Disney's Song of the South in 1946. Disney himself introduced the picture.

An hour before almost every show there is an organ concert on the historic Moller organ. If you stand up front by the rail, you can give requests.
If u get limited view seats, go with 0-10, beyond that u will really miss out on parts of the show
