On a recent food tour, the chicken tagine won the popular vote. Whether it's hookah, or gay hipsters, they'll be swankin' in this E. Harlem hideaway steps from La Marqueta. Ask to see the lower lounge

After pairing simple couscous and hummus plates with house wines, wind down with a choose-your-own-flavor hookah share.

Great atmosphere, amazing lamb platter (meat was cooked perfectly), and the sangria is BETTER than Camaradas. If you need a late night spot to chill the hookah lounge in the back is open till 2am.

Quaint little Moroccan Restaurant with great Hookah bar. Ask for a pot of never-ending mint tea and take a journey to Northern Africa for a little while.

Flawless flavours! Perfect humus, amazing saffron rice and pretty brilliant sauces. Took me all the way back to the North Sahara of my childhood.

Most of the food was over salted and tasted like it came from cans and jars. I had hoped for something more authentic and was pretty disappointed.
