- Pablo AlvarezApril 14, 2019This is the best hotel in Midtown. True NYC ambiance the second you walk in the lively, elegant lobby. Staff is super friendly. Rooms are clean and beds are super comfortable! Stay no place else.
- Laura MartinFebruary 19, 2014The atmosphere is upscale Art Deco. Give the radiators a few minutes to rev up. The windows have motorized shades. The shower has 2 nozzles in the suite. They have some suites with adjoining reg roomsUpvoted 1 week ago
- ReemMay 12, 2015So Very Trendy ! You'll fall in love with their decoration and creativity .. I was happy with the size of their queen room ! location was perfect too (Close to both 5th ave and the United Nations)
- Always a great place to stay.. Great location mid town.. Staff friendly and very helpful..It's my "go to" place when I am in NYC..
- Grace NgMay 31, 2013I had a huge room, bed could fit three adults and we had two bathrooms outfitted with carrera marble an gorgeous wallpaper. Would definitely return again
- Louis BaltimoreJune 4, 2018It is extremely inexpensive but fairly well appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Great value! I asked to decline the “destination fee” and that saved me $30/night too.
- Damian BayonaFebruary 26, 2017Chic, jazz themed hotel in midtown. Smallish rooms but well spaced with nice finishings. Very reasonably priced and on the 6 train.
- Jeanne AshSeptember 3, 2014Great hotel! Had a Starbucks!!! Bathroom toilet was awkward. Housekeeping was great. Very friendly staff. My room had very little cooling and was humid!!'
- Drew MAugust 20, 2019Trendy with good service, their rooms are average size for a midtown hotel. Between the 4 marriotts next to each other, I prefer the Maxwell due to their softer beds though this has better/newer tech
- Pau ChoyApril 4, 2012Raffles Café is delicious! Breakfast, Meal or Dinner they have perfect menus, incredible taste. A bit expensive, but it's totally worth it :)
- Dave KornreichJanuary 25, 2015Very hip in the middle of everything, and the rooms are roomy for NYC. Comfortable, clean and trendy.
- Very good and affordable Marriott in midtown. $10 quality breakfast right downstairs and Starbucks attached!!!
- Patricia Aki-ApanaMarch 3, 2013Room is nice got a suite and it is perfect for free. That's part of yr Marriott benefit when working 27 years. Love it
- Osagie OsarenkhoeAugust 4, 2012Starbucks downstairs, Dynasty on the 1st floor, few minutes from Madison. What more could I want? Lovely hotel
- Easy walk from Grand Central. Full bar/restaurant and gym.
- Cristina DimouDecember 30, 2013So far the staff isn't friendly. Nobody greets you except when your at the elite marriott front desk. Room service for 2 a burger and chicken fingers no drinks and a sm soup 77bucks. Decorated nicely
- good hotel to stay for a week.. no more. Sometimes they don't make the rooms, and the walls are like paper, but the rooms are quite big and they have free wifi in the lobby!
- Shelle WillisSeptember 15, 2019Rooms are small but comfortable. Hotel has cool look and vibe. Great location
- Tobias NegeleJanuary 2, 2016We had a good time there while staying in Manhattan. Good hotel but nothing special.
- Jerry DarkoDecember 7, 2015This is the worst "luxury" hotel in the world. Tiny rooms, no room service, fridge, minibar, cups, anything. Holiday Inns are better. Stay away unless u want to eat pizza delivery on plastic plates.
- TC ConwayMarch 5, 2014The beds are really comfy, but needs warmer blankets. The heat needs some time to heat the room. Better set it when you first get in.
- Karla DonjuanNovember 5, 2018Breakfast was not great 😪 American style. Ok if you are on a rush. The hotel is great!
- Remco Van BreeMarch 31, 2013It's a bit frayed at the edges, but the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. They're renovating, so chances are things will be better. Rooms were very late to get ready though… :-S
- DelonJune 28, 2015Tiny hallow rooms. They revamped it maybe in the last few years but cheap. You can hear conversations next door. We had friends meet us and neighbors complained so many times we weren't loud at all.
- Jimmy PJuly 11, 2011Make sure you stop for a drink at the bar. The bartender/waitress Antoneta is so sweet and helpful and beautiful!!!
- Elizabeth GrazioliApril 16, 2011I stay here every time i come to nyc and the service is always wonderful!! Definitely worth the stay!
- Avoid any room near the elevators. They are so noisy. Especially 2801 - nice large room but you hear rumbling of the elevators all night long.
- Pura CarellaJanuary 13, 2016Love this Hotel but the room was so small I had 6 suit case and I could not walk to the bathroom had to jump over . I found that the staff was not polite at all . The lobby was so full .
- Jordyn MarieJanuary 8, 2012The full-size bed would've been fine for one, but it was smaller than I'm used to for two. Room was boutique sized, but very clean. Bathroom fixtures weren't super modern, but hey--not bad for $99.
- Cool and affordable hotel, with free Wi-Fi in the lobby.
- In room internet is ridiculously priced - there's free wifi in the lobby area, enjoy it from the meeting area on the second floor!
- Nuno PereiraFebruary 9, 2018Great location, we stayed in the 26th floor, some terrible water noises but cool room
- If you want free WiFi in your room, just join the Club Carlson rewards program.
- SaraOctober 11, 2010Raffles is a great place to grab a late-night cup of coffee when Starbuck's is closed. They are open til midnight!
- bed can fit three adults! don't listen to cynthia b , clean bathroom, nice sized rooms
- Ask for a non- smoker room. The bath is old but well mantained... The bed is huge!!!
- Emily DOctober 2, 2013When we got there, we were told the room we booked a month ago was not available. They instead gave us 2 rooms for our party of 4, supposedly next to each other with queen beds. Neither true at all.
- kav kavAugust 2, 2011Very cheap hotel, great location. Many problems here though (we had plumbing issues & google shows many other complaints).
