- I love that the bar is a venue on Untappd. The menu is fresh and the selection of craft beer is awesome! I'm hoping to make a second trip to Cape May this fall and Mad Batter will be part of it.
- Ronnie RothJune 20, 2016Such a unique little restaurant. Not too crowded during lunch on the weekend. We had egg dishes and they were both cooked to perfection. Friendly and fast service. Would love to go back soon!

- Tony XerriJuly 22, 2013Looks like the only non redundant top I can leave here is to whatever meal you get HAS to be accompanied by the peach sangria. Legit crazy delicious. Bla bla pancakes bla bla brunch bla bla bla bla...
- Richard RevillaAugust 30, 2013Shrimp Taco was amazing with sweet potato fries. Sit outside in the shade enjoy a cocktail. Don't forget a double espresso before you go back to the beach.
- Matt CroweSeptember 12, 2018Service wasn’t the fastest but we did dine at 2:00 on a Thursday both my pancakes & home fries were perfect, my wife commented that her chorizo breakfast 🌯 could have been spicier with less tomato.
- Malick KellySeptember 8, 2017Eggs Benedict and home fries were amazing. The service was even better. Barbara is one of the best waitresses that I have ever encountered.
- Irene SAugust 23, 2014Almond orange French toast is mmm mmm good! Fresh specialty juices are nice. Great and friendly staff!!
- Nadya WJune 23, 2011I have been here many times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each menu has a wonderful selection to choose from, and the food is delicious! During the summer, it gets crowded, so be prepared to wait.
- Brooks DoyneJuly 9, 2012Amazing brunch. Try to sit outside it's a way better experience. I had the special which was a fish taco. Amazing. Get the Bloody Mary too it's great
- Breakfast! Hash and eggs, croustade, and breakfast burritos...plus really good pancakes!
- Definitely ask to sit outside, such great scenery. The garden salad is excellent and I had the Tuscan fettuccine - also recommended. Vegan options - even vanilla ice cream!
- Ryan EngFebruary 16, 2012Great place to grab brunch while on vacation down the shore! Make sure to arrive early, as it fills up fast but if there is a line it's worth the wait.
- AyinAugust 17, 2015Brunch was yummy and very affordable! Also, the restaurant has some of the best turkey bacon I've ever tasted!

- SandyAugust 29, 2010It's worth the wait to eat on the porch out front, it's ever so pleasant on Jackson street looking out at Victorian houses! :) Reasonably priced, and they have the best eggs Benedict!

- Bobb HawkeyOctober 5, 2013When super busy in the morning, sit at the bar. Full service without the wait. And have a man-mosa.
- Get the buttermilk pancakes and side of bacon. Delicious.
- Foodie & The BeastAugust 16, 2016Waldorf chicken salad was ok, not superb. We had a horrible waitress. Sounds like they are known for breakfast and we had dinner.
- If you're deciding between the Croustade and the Chorizo & Eggs, get the Chorizo & Eggs!
- Onezumi HartsteinJuly 14, 2013They will tell you that you can order full menu at the bar. DON'T. Service is so bad at the bar. They took our menus back without taking our order or giving us the specials so I gave up.
- Daniel M.August 22, 2010I'm not saying this place is overrated, but if you go here for brunch (assuming you actually get a seat) you may want to bring your own tea, coffee, half and half, pancake syrup and Bloody Mary mix.
