I love that the bar is a venue on Untappd. The menu is fresh and the selection of craft beer is awesome! I'm hoping to make a second trip to Cape May this fall and Mad Batter will be part of it.

Such a unique little restaurant. Not too crowded during lunch on the weekend. We had egg dishes and they were both cooked to perfection. Friendly and fast service. Would love to go back soon!

Service wasn’t the fastest but we did dine at 2:00 on a Thursday both my pancakes & home fries were perfect, my wife commented that her chorizo breakfast 🌯 could have been spicier with less tomato.

I have been here many times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each menu has a wonderful selection to choose from, and the food is delicious! During the summer, it gets crowded, so be prepared to wait.

Definitely ask to sit outside, such great scenery. The garden salad is excellent and I had the Tuscan fettuccine - also recommended. Vegan options - even vanilla ice cream!

Great place to grab brunch while on vacation down the shore! Make sure to arrive early, as it fills up fast but if there is a line it's worth the wait.

It's worth the wait to eat on the porch out front, it's ever so pleasant on Jackson street looking out at Victorian houses! :) Reasonably priced, and they have the best eggs Benedict!

I'm not saying this place is overrated, but if you go here for brunch (assuming you actually get a seat) you may want to bring your own tea, coffee, half and half, pancake syrup and Bloody Mary mix.
