From one of the most influential producers of Albarino in Galicia, this delicious and unusual wine from the godello grape is bone dry with notes of apple & pear & a citrus tang on the finish.

A​ classic Bordeaux blend. This creamy Semillon Sauvignon spends eight months on the lees and a month in barriques. Imagine waxy peaches and sweet cashews with a dash of ginger, cumin and white pepper.

From the coastal region of Estremadura to the north of Lisbon, this gorgeous white is a blend of local grapes Arinto, Fernão Pires and Antão Vaz. It is rich and textured, floral and apricot-tinged with hints of honey and a fresh, mineral finish.

Aligote is the ‘other’ white grape variety of Burgundy. A complex wine with a nose of lemon & apple & notes of flint. On the palate the apple combines with a hint of spice, apricot & a toasty creaminess. Lovely acidity & minerality on the finish

Predominantly a blend of 55% Treixadura, 20% Albariño, 12% Godello (plus 3 others) . Traditional wine making in a mountainous terrain, this medium gold-coloured tank-aged wine offers a complex nose of minerals, honey, melon and citrus. Medium-bodied, it has a smooth texture, excellent underlying acidity, and a pure, long finish.

Elegant and harmonious. Ripe tropical flavours, soft white fruit and lovely floral notes with balancing (classic Terlano) mineral acidity. The wine has a long persistent finish.

A blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan, this wine shares the same soil & climate as its neighbours in the Southern Rhone. Perfumed with violets & mulberries & great concentration of fruit & spice on the palate.

Perfumed aromas of dark cherry & sweet plum fruit with hints of earth and spice. The palate is soft and round with fresh acidity and good length.

This straight forward and fresh Valpolicella has perfumed cherry fruit, notes of almond & spice and is soft & fleshy on the palate with fresh acidity and good length. Can be served at room temperature or chilled.

Healthy purple-red colour, aromas of raspberries, myrtle and red currants, medium-bodied with sharp cherry flavours underpinned by distinctive mineral notes of iron and slate. Easy-drinking but very more-ish.

Cannonau is said to have originated in Sardegna but is more widely known as Grenache or Garnacha. Deep ruby colour with generous fragrances of ripe wild fruit & berries, delicate notes of violets & the Mediterranean. The palate is warm, full bodied with round soft tannins.

From the Loire not Burgundy, but all the better for it. All the quality but not the price tag! .Hints of herbs and ripe cherry fruit on the nose. The palate is elegant and textured with smooth, sappy red cherry fruit. Beautifully expressive & elegantly pure Pinot. Very drinkable.

A​ delicious blend of Austria’s native Zweigelt & Pinot Noir that could be mistaken for a baby Burgundy. A smoky nose with red berry fruits and spicy notes with a soft fleshy palate showing spice, red & black fruits with hints of the forest floor. A firm favourite of ours.

Francesco Serafini has brought this grape back from near extinction & it is gaining somewhat of a following. Perfumed dark blueberry & plum fruits combine with spice & earth and gamey hints. The palate is almost lactic or chocolatey, lots going on here. The finish is fresh & powerful with lovely balance making you reach for another glass!!

A classic blend of Syrah, Grenache & Mouvedre. Savoury, spiced Mediterranean herbs on the nose are followed by a palate with a hint of eucalyptus all backed up by ripe red fruits and gentle rounded tannins.

This blend of Cabernet & Syrah is where modern Spain meets Bordeaux. Sweet herbal & smoky notes with plump ripe blackberries & soft fleshy berry fruit offset by the subtle vanilla perfumes from the fine oak aging.

Classic​ Piedmont; deliciously fragrant with strawberries, cherries and roses. Fresh and lively, with some savoury, leathery notes yet plenty of juicy damson fruit, and very fine, gentle tannins.

An intriguing blend of Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês & Syrah from the dynamic southern region Alantejo. Part tank, part used French oak fermented, it is fresh & aromatic with blackberry, cherry & plum and full & round tannins.

Old-fashioned Rioja at its drinkable best.Almost amber in colour with pronounced & seductive savoury vanilla oak aromas.Concentrated ripe berries on the palate, broadening out to the savoury & sensuous.

Immaculately​ made Margaux-styled wine. More linear and precise fruit than in the 2005 vintage, with very attractive and quite prominent new oak flavours and tannins which have integrated to make this a very fine claret indeed.

This Italian cult wine is a Bordeaux blend of grapes from North of Venice. The wine is complex and powerful, intense cassis aromas, sweet & concentrated dark berry fruit with savoury hints of tobacco, earth & black olive with herbal / vegetal notes. The palate is rich and beautifully balanced and drinking so well now.

A​ traditional style of Brunello hailing from Southern Montalcino. Earthy & mineral hints integrate perfectly with the red fruit & spice. It combines both power and elegance while being very approachable, great now or in years to come.
