Excellent breakfast dishes. The pastries are very fresh (the Pecan Roll is amazing!). Also, the breakfast flatbread is a must (bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cheese--all on a thin, crispy flatbread)
The shells of the macarons are satin smooth and beautifully colored. Most have a great texture. The standout flavors include the choco-coconut, which tastes like a Samoa, and the mint.
The only place in Chicago with authentic canele de Bordeaux. May I also say they are some of the best I have had in America. A canele and espresso and you will be transformed to Paris. -Malika Ameen,
In the morning, they’re packed with tourists chowing croissants. In the evening, you have the place to yourself. Which is curious, because we love the simple charcuterie plates and Alsatian tarts. Read more

SO BAD. You should leave before even going in. The food was oily, salty, and the chef couldn't even perfect a simple burger patty. This restaurant is definitely not in the Peninsula's standards.
