- Anastasia BelozertsevaMarch 24, 2014Nice hotel that is reasonably priced and right across the street from the famous Fairmont. Skip the valet and park in the Grace Cathedral parking lot for $30/night
- Dominik L.October 15, 2014Very cool, stylish and clean hotel in a great locations. Some rooms have a great view over the city. Highly recommended! Only thing I didn't enjoy that much: The coffee-shop style expensive breakfast.
- Wilson Favre-DelerueMarch 28, 2017Very ugly from the outside, surprisingly cool and boutiquey on the inside. Very pleasant open space in the lobby with the concierge desk, sofas and a restaurant & bar.
- Jonathan HJune 19, 2015Great, trendy hotel! Views from the 8th floor were well worth the smaller fee for a premium view. Room was spacious and the bed was among the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on.
- Chris PhillipsOctober 10, 2014Curious design choices. Almost stylish but not quite. Friendly front desk and spacious room with a few. Free wifi fills computer with extra ads.
- Noelia de la CruzMay 19, 2019Sweet hotel. Jeffrey on the late night shift is awesome & made a 2:30am check-in pleasant after a long day & delayed flight. He also gave me a free breakfast voucher, which was super appreciated.
- herm pugayFebruary 21, 2015I didn't know this hotel existed since it's right behind the Mark Hopkins. Has a a cozy bar only for relaxing with a glass of wine and a crepe
- Cathy AllenApril 12, 2013Amazing view no matter where your room is located. Be prepared for the walk of death getting to the top of California! Otherwise A++*

- Füsun T.February 26, 2016It is very near to downtown, shopping centers, bay bridge etc...it is really nice place to stay in SF.
- Lisette NAugust 7, 2014Make sure your room is higher up if you want to sleep, court side room on the second floor means constant chatter from valets during the night, who seem to be holding a party down there.....
- Raymond CohenJanuary 12, 2019If you get a window facing outward on one of the four sides of the building, there's loud banging noises at 4:30am onwards each morning.

- If you use the free wifi in the lobby (select the 24 hour free option) it also becomes free in the rooms - otherwise the free option is not available when in the hotel rooms!
- Load Adblock on your browser, because the "free" guest wifi adds cookie-tracking banner ads to the margins of most websites.
- Able to access WiFi on 5th floor via ibahn (network name). Slower since they transitioned off the Marriott name - ask for an upgrade.
- Huge fitness center, w tons of cardio equipment, weight machines and free weight racks.
- Khalid AlmowaizriNovember 9, 2014Small rooms but nice beds, quite rooms and the front desk staff are very helpful.
- Zoë NewcombJune 11, 2011This hotel has decent service. If you don't know what to do for dinner, ask a staff member. A lot of them know a lot I'd cool places in the city.
- Snag a parking spot on the street (after 6 or 7) to avoid the $42/night charge.
- Jenny KeehanJune 30, 2011Meeting staff is great as is front desk, concierge and parking. We love it here.
- Nicole TJuly 12, 2012Nice hotel but the street cars will keep you awake at night. Not a hotel for lite sleepers.
- On a better note valet parking people have the best people skills in this hotel you can see they are honest hard working people. And the rooms are not bad just don't expect any cel phone signal and ve
- Dora PantaziNovember 28, 2015Stay somewhere else.too much for parking, too much for everything.lovely location.
- One of my hotels, but do get a courtyard room if you are a lite sleeper
- Not sure why anyone would order anything but the egg white, spinach and feta omelet for breakfast.
- Christie IobstJuly 28, 2012Skip this hotel and the condescending prick at the front desk who contradicts himself from one breath to the next whilst attempting to make YOU sound wrong.
- Ken GazdaApril 19, 2013Nothing open in the hotel past 11pm not a good option if you need anything or are in need of food or drink in the evening.
- Naro CJanuary 20, 2013Decent hotel but nothing to write home about! Noisy if your room is on the street.
- Paul KramerMarch 14, 2011The construction goes on all night. Maybe one should avoid a room with a view.
- There are two or three hotels in the same block that are pricey but at least I hope they treat you better. This hotel thinks you should be thanking them for charging you a lot for nothing.
