- NoirSocialiteJuly 13, 2014Beautiful Boutique hotel that lacks class & competence. Staff is uneducated and barely speaks English. If I could check myself in and make my own payment myself my stay would have been wonderful.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Debbie PackerJuly 24, 2013What a great little hotel that has been restored to its 1920's splendor. Very friendly staff, nicely restored rooms, old Chicago style lounge, and I love my view of the John Hancock tower!
- Kevin CorriganAugust 9, 2013Nice place. Really comfortable bed and nice staff. WiFi isn't free and cumbersome to use (slow and clunky). All in all - good place to stay if you don't place to work from your room.
- Amazing staff, two restaurants,Poppie at the bar. Rooms are not as modern as some but that in no way detracts from its comfort and practicality. Concierge is ON POINT.
- Jennifer ChandonnetOctober 8, 2011We arrived just a few minutes after the 3pm check in and they upgraded us to the Delaware Suite, complimentary. It is beautiful! Food at Fornetto Mei is delicious and is one of their restaurants.
- Andrew DobneyAugust 22, 2013Enjoyed my stay here. Good location (near Magnificent Mile). Very nice rooms. Felt very comfortable.
- L ErskineApril 29, 2011Nice room. Nice bed. Very nice staff. Nice free breakfast. Nice location - 1 blk from "Big John" Hancock tower. WiFi $10/day (no, thanks). Only broadcast TV stations (what no pr0n?!). 805 door's fixed
- James SutherlandSeptember 19WiFi is free now, but still slow. Even "breakfast included" rates don't actually include breakfast, just a $20 credit towards it. Have to request housekeeping or towels specifically or won't get any.
- Alyssa KichuraJuly 23, 2013Very friendly service. Got us a taxi everytime immediately. Beds are super comfortable too
- Ariel HermanOctober 24, 2018Old hotel that is not aesthetically pleasing nor convenient in its room arrangement but the location is fantastic.
- Make sure you have a credit card. $75 deposit per night.. taken right out of my checking account. $450 for 6 nights.
- Shane WinterNovember 11, 2011One of the best hotel gyms I've seen in a while. Complete with a Smith Machine!
- Mike DuclosMarch 10, 2011Room 805 door doesn't close all the way behind you. Make sure to pull it shut. Have a fun stay
- Brad HorowitzMarch 14, 2012This hotel proves why the star system is no longer relevant. I'm sure my grandparents would have like this place - time for a gut renovation.
- Juan Pedro PereyraMarch 20, 2013Unless everything else is fully booked, go somewhere else. Like the Amalfi.
- Bathilda HMarch 10, 2012So far... A dump. Not sure why it would be $150.. Have paid for better environment for cheaper!!!!
