Greg the bartender was worth coming for! He helped us find some really cool spots around town while we were visiting! Also made some great drinks! We stuck to the original 1944 Mai Tai and coffee grog

Wow...the Classic 1944 Mai Tai as a first time check in? It knocked me on my butt, strong but really tasty! The Crab Rangoon was delish, as were the wings, and wontons. Better than expected!

Always a fun spot. Patrick behind the bar always takes good care of you, and the drinks come out strong and delicious. Mai Tai's can't be beat.

The bar area is great for drinks and dessert.... Get the s'mores. They come with a mini hibachi so you can toast them at your table.

Pro tip: Order the "Pinky Gonzales.". It's a Trader Vics Mai tai with the tequila of your choosing. It's not on the menu but it's the best drink in the joint.

Loved this place years ago. Greatest Mai Tais in Portland. I still remember the Bongo Bongo Soup, but you gotta love oysters.

Great renovation of the space. Very busy on opening weekend. Mai tai was delicious, but pours seemed a bit lite.

Andrea -- Waiters hassling customers about tips is technically illegal. Next time some snotnose like Justin does this to you, call him/her out on it.

Service in back room is slow, but quiet. Look for ladies or men written under restroom sign or you may go in wrong one.
