- Andy WelsherOctober 25, 2017Great hotel, avoid rooms near the central lifts, they’re loud at night. Restaurants are over priced, but the sunset bar has a great cheaper menu. The view from sunset point at sundown is incredible!
- Richard RevillaOctober 22, 2014One of the greatest hotels I've stayed in. Staff is great pool is awesome and the seating overlooking the surfers makes this a truly awesome hotel. No longer a Hilton property for years.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Relaxing? Enjoy the salt water pool, or the complimentary beach loungers. If you are interested in fitness, Nalu Kinetic Fitness facility is state of the art and looks over the majestic ocean.
- Tim LucasSeptember 27, 2016Pull up a chair facing the beach and enjoy sunset cocktails whilst watching surfers ride the break
- Ria NdutAugust 27, 2014Is in the other side of the island very far from the crowed of Waikiki, the restaurant by the beach is my favorite they make the best burger. Make sure you validate your parking pass at the restaurant
- Ron JeramiahOctober 8, 2015Place is amazing, everything was on point and Timmy our host was incredible. We highly recommend and as Arnold says, I'll be back!
- Drew MilamFebruary 2, 2019Staff is overly nice. Large pool area, usually with a fair amount of kids. Numerous restaurant options, all of which are overpriced. Constant wind and big waves, look out for afternoon surfers.
- Michele GorhamAugust 9, 2013Hit up Ola for lunch & drinks for cheapest drinks and food. On Sunday @ 6 fire dancers will start at hang ten by the pool. Head south of resort tobeach to the south of the resort to spot turtles
- Yngvar JohnsenJune 4, 2015Finally a place with Wi-Fi that actually works! It seems every room has its own router + all over the place, every restaurant, every bar. Wi-Fi even works at the beach, just barely.
- Even if you don't stay at the resort, come to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets and watch the surfers ride the waves in Kawela Bay.
- North Shore is the place to be, yes it's a resort, but it has nice areas you can walk to and have your own private beach. Way better than Aulani Disney Resort
- NadineFebruary 4, 2014Avoid the overpriced food and drive 16 minutes to Papa Ole. Get the garlic chicken and shrimp and short rib dish!
- Julie 🐯🌺💜🎶😊May 7, 2013Find a set of restrooms and a bar at the beach to the right of the main hotel bldg which would be to the left of this pic ;)
- Johnika DJuly 1, 2012The swim area of the beach can get crowded during the day. There is a lot of coral. Beach stretches to your right behind the green hut another mile. Cabanas $50-75/first come, first serve.
- Scott BrodeurJuly 26, 2018You will accumulate a big bill but a great property! Sunrises and sunsets are free!
- You can get drinks at the shop by the pool and it is half the price as the restaurant and pool drinks. Wish I knew that at the beginning of our trip.
- Right now our Spa is being renovated but there is still awesome services available. You get 15% off treatments/massages and 10% off hair and nails until the reno is complete!
- Spencer BrownellAugust 1, 2017Very nice resort. The cottages are very comfortable and right next to the ocean. Excellent staff and service.
- Shali NguyenMarch 12, 2017Lovely stop in North Shore to relax, grab a drink and get in some beach time.
- Whitney PomaMarch 15, 2016Beautiful resort and great for families! Don't miss sunset at The Point next to the pool.
- TulaniMarch 5, 2012Great resort with nice restaurants and outstanding location. Off the beaten path, but they work hard to make the trip enjoyable.
- Vic MelecioMay 21, 2012Must do the fruit market a couple blocks north. Really cheap fruit just picked from the on site farm. Also great lunch meals.
- Otel.comJune 7, 2012Try out the numerous activities: enjoy a round of golf at the championship golf courses, go horseback riding, go hiking and mountain biking and more.
- It's an hours outside of town but perfect place to get away. The staff is awesome and you can check in about 11am
- The best thing about this hotel isn't the beach, or the golf course, or the hammocks or the Mai tais, it's the staff. Friendliest people I've ever met. Come to turtle bay, you won't regret it.
- Billy POctober 17, 2011Nicest rooms I've ever stayed in on Oahu (better than a corner Hilton room and the Outrigger Reef), but the dining here is a step below.Ola is overpriced for what you get, but the view is to die for!
- Sunny =)November 20, 2016Stayed here years ago for my grandparents 50th anniversary. One of the only hotels on North Shore.
- BrentAugust 20, 2011You're in for a great vacation! This is one of the best resorts on Oahu. Relaxing, beautiful, away from the crowds and traffic of Waikiki.
- Ashley MckenzieJune 9, 2014The oceanside horseback ride is a MUST! Do NOT miss it. It's worth the money.
- If you want a good meal, don't go to the hotel! Go to Lei Lei's or Ola's. If you want an amazing Martini, see Allie at 21 Degrees. The Bay Club is fun for late night drink with friends.
- RCJanuary 19, 2017The best hotel on the north shore. Don't valet your car. Free parking in the lots.
- yrummyJune 20, 2012Palm Terrace for buffet brekky is really good. Decent omelet chef & good variety of food for $26pp. Why are all the staff so old & sad though :<
- Alex SanchezFebruary 13, 2012Check out the blow hole and walk around the grounds. There is a sitting area by the hole to look at the waves crash on the rocks.
- Libby Lee-EganJanuary 12, 2015this is the only place I found where you can drink cocktails with your bare feet in the sand.
- Michael LucasSeptember 6, 2014Pool is fantastic! Don't use your personal towel. They will ask you to leave if you aren't staying there.
- Grab a towel, drink & your camera! Sit & watch the surfers catch big waves around 5ish behind the pool area, starting at the bay that feeds out into the ocean.
- Lisa ElmerSeptember 18, 2011Went on vrbo.com and got a amazing rental villa for way less! My husband and I had an amazing time on our honeymoon.
- Ervin AranaOctober 21, 2012I suggest looking for local places to eat unless you're willing to spend $60 for mediocre breakfast (for 2.) Dinner was better but still a Lil pricey. Other than that, the resort is incredible.
- Matthew CaenahanMarch 5, 2010Great fun especially if you surf. Themain dining room sucks. Go see Virginia at the coffee cart and she will hook you up with coffee and fruit/muffins/salads. Nearby shrimp trucks are great
- Levon BagdasarovApril 24, 2012The best place for surfing!!! The waves huge here!!!! And so beautiful around
- Ashley BoykoMarch 22, 2013Go see Jessica at the Lobby Lounge. She makes a mean latte and is super nice!!
- Tye JavaJune 20, 2012The north side of the island is very windy (from the Trade Winds) so you may want to bring a jacket
- Gino RossiAugust 7, 2012Excellent resort, away from it all & in the middle of the Hawaii I wanted to know.
- yrummyJune 20, 2012Place is in need of a facelift. Food is expensive & service is very average. But you do get good access to beaches on both east & west side. And unlike other resorts, the sun beds are free to use.
- Get a couples massage Oceanside. The ocean noise is tranquil, the ladies know how to massage & you can give the surfers a show!!!
