Tony ValcarcelJuly 2, 2014This is more than a bbq joint. Food is surprisingly well made for a casual dining place. 1/4 smoked freebird is juicy. Blackened catfish tacos w/ slaw and sauce are SPLENDID!- The fried baby back rib appetizer is innovative and delicious. Never had anything bad here. Other faves are the Mexican corn side, Parmesan pork chops, & the pulled pork sandwich.

Gerald DysonMay 23, 2018Beef ribs are no longer on the menu, the baby backs were good - not great, and the chicken fried steak was mediocre at best - almost burnt and the gravy was questionable “is that gravy?”
Hands down !!! Beef rib & Mac n cheese !!! It's delicious .;)
The Two Step is partially housed in the 1869 Phillip Ruempel homestead - be sure to check out the original limestone walls.
Order the Two Step tacos!! They are awesome!!
