This is my regular go-to place-- great bar keeps (very knowledgeable)-- great food and beer is always fresh and cold.

Joan CampbellMarch 18, 2016The one in downtown Raleigh closed, but there are several other locations. The BBQ Chicken Carolina Nachos are delicious!
My personal favorite (right now) is Rogue John John Juniper. IPA made with juniper and cucumber, stored in a gin cask. Delicious!
If looking to try something new, try the Banh Mi! It's the bomb! Just give it a shot! Flavorgasm!
Try a hummingbird = hard cider + what Belgian lambic they have on tap at the moment (kriek/cherry or raspberry are the best)

Just devoured--for the umpteenth time--a pear salad with grilled chicken and an IPA....secret to six pack abs.- Order the bbq platter but make it the "lean, green platter" by subsituting the fries for broccoli!
New menu! Woot!Leave young children (under 8) at grannys when quaffing an ale with friends. This is not Dinsey World!

Thomas BrownApril 6, 2013Good beer selection, but the owners completely cheaped out and destroyed the food menu over the past year...now mainly just standard apps and overcooked pub-grub-grade burgers and such. Disappointing.
Amazingly kid friendly in the dining area - very accommodating! They will always bring the kid's food out first if you ask :)
Wednesday is $1 off NC Drafts, great time to try something new :)
