Union Station is a must see while you are in KC, it is beautiful. There are several museums/displays great for kids & adults, a movie theater, and restaurants. It is also a functioning train station.

There's this great resteraunt there, I recall. If you sit at the bar, they have happy hour (drinks AND food) all day. Plus their prices are really cheep, especially for gourmet-calliber food.

Restored in the 1990s, this train station is filled with restaurants, stores, rotating exhibits and theaters. You can easily spend the entire day staring at the beautiful architecture.

The Science Center is a great place for children. Even the bigger (adult) ones will find some interesting things to do there. Places to eat inside, bathrooms on all three levels.

Good place to kill a little time and on the light rail system. Has a toy train exhibit and a small science center for kids. A few cafes and nice restrooms.

It's still a working train station with a lot of rotating exhibits, Science City, restaurants and the city's largest cinema screen. It was the site of a shootout between officers and mobsters in 1933.

I like the titanic exhibit because they had lots of infirmation about the titanic and it was really cool to see all the clothing they wore back then and how they lived on the boat!!

You gotta get the app, cool way to learn about the history. But also, it's a creepy dead zone in here. How can it be a better used space?

Next to the entrance to science city is a door to the freight house bridge. You can walk across the bridge over the train tracks and watch the trains underneath!

There is a giant atrium here with doors leading (ostensibly) to the platforms, and then you go board in a dinky corner of the building. This is a shame. Boarding a train used to be glamorous
