Τhe Kapnikarea is a cruciform, domed Byzantine church with a dome dedicated to the Presentation of the Virgin Mary. The original building was constructed in the 11th century.

Δεν την είχα πετύχει ποτέ ανοιχτή τόσο καιρό. Χτίστηκε τον 11 ο αιώνα στα θεμέλια ενός αρχαίου ναού αφιερωμένου στην Αθηνά όπως μπορείτε και να διαβάσετε: http://el.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Καπνικαρέα
