It was a nice diversion from the rest of Bangkok. They charge foreigners extra (200 baht), so it's a little steep for the limited amount of things to see.
Recommended for people who love medical oddities. Creepy yet fascinating. Find out what it looks like to get electrocuted or stabbed by a machete. THB200 for foreigner and THB80 for local.
I've visited a lot of medical museums and this one is just plain creepy. Should be renamed to Museum of Horrible Deaths. Not very educational and some of the exhibits look unkept, eg leaking jars.
Because I don't look Thai I had to pay 200 baht which is a tourist price - not a farang price. I've lived in Thailand for 3 years now. I wouldn't recommend this museum.
They caught on that they can fleece foreigners by putting the 40 baht price in Thai numerals and charging foreigners 200 baht. For that price they should have more English explanations. 👎
