市立の科学館ですが，トヨタやJR西日本など，民間の有力企業が提供している展示品が多く，機械の実物の展示や仕組みの詳細な説明など，見ごたえあるものとなっています．ただ全体に文字量が多いので，きちんと読むと結構疲れます．
