NaoApril 14, 2024与謝蕪村は下京区仏光寺通烏丸西入に当時あった居宅で、天明3年12月25日（1784年1月17日）未明、68歳でその生涯を終えた。墓所は左京区一乗寺の金福寺に。碑の横に立つ解説札にはこの地に住むに至った経緯等が記されている。
