Grab some mango beer while the set-up is forming on your table and waiting to boil your food into steamy deliciousness. The duck blood cakes and intestines are a must, so are the 老油條.

Good stuff, their malaguo is definitely special! Tastes better than Lao Sichuan :D their VIP rooms (the scary ones where they take you through a back alley...are nice) had a min of 10,000NT seriously!

Tai He Dien in English. Amazing mala guo spicy hot pot. Try the prime beef and the ox tongue. Limited English spoken here but picture menu available. Get a reservation if going for dinner.

If you’re a spice aficionado, the mala here probably won’t be spicy enough for you, but it is flavorful. Appreciate the duck blood and fried dough sticks, which you don’t see everywhere.

Wasn’t too greasy or heavy. Downstairs basement area a bit dark so get a seat on the ground level.

Very best in Taipei! Love the duck blood and intestine combination. Yes, it is a bit pricey but worth it.

Delicious and so spicy. But disappointedly poor table setting. Staffs cannot understand English. Also uncomfortably only cash.

周りにも席があるようで、お店の裏側に入りました。人気店だけあって満席でした。ここも美味しいけど、個人的には鼎王麻辣鍋の方が好きです。

超人気店。常に満席でした。スープはハーフ&ハーフ、具材は手作り海老団子？、湯葉、揚げパンがオススメ！温かい飲み物がないのが謎…。
