品川神社にある富士塚。道中、1合目から9合目まで道標が建っています。山頂にはちょっとした平らなスペースがあり、山頂からは品川の街並みが一望できます。なかなか気持ちの良い眺望です。

富士講の名残の塚。富士山の麓に行くのも大変でしたし、誰でも登れる山ではなく、信仰の対象だった富士山。当時の江戸からは、あちこちでよく見えたはずです。

明治 2 年に築かれた都内最大級の富士塚で通称は「品川富士」。六合目からはいきなり細く急な山道になります。
