『所沢肛門病院』の看板がお出迎え。『川越町駅』として開駅し、後に『川越市駅』に改称。所属路線は東武東上線のみ。また、本川越駅に西口が完成した事から、西武線と東武線の乗り換えが容易になりました。

東上線のあらゆる電車に乗り換えが可能です。少し歩きますが西武新宿線にも乗り換え可能です。
