大阪を代表する繁華街である心斎橋の最寄り駅。この駅では御堂筋線/長堀鶴見緑地線が接続している。堺筋線長堀橋駅はクリスタ長堀を経由して乗り換えが可能。また、四つ橋線四ツ橋駅は別駅扱いであるが、改札内と繋がっているため同一駅とみなすことができる。
