加賀藩藩校・明倫館もその母体とする第四高等中学校 (後の旧制第四高等学校) の校舎として 1891 年に建てられた煉瓦造 2 階建の建物。設計は山口半六 / 久留正道で、明治期の日本人建築家による西洋建築としては現存する最古のもの。建物内部は現在でも校舎の雰囲気を色濃く残す。腰回りの釉楽煉瓦が地味にいいアクセント。
