One of my go to night markets in Taipei. Though smaller, it's less overwhelming and less touristy than others. Few food recs: black sesamesoup balls, fresh skewers, oyster omelette, teppenyaki...
Smaller night market which is a great alternative to the mass, tourist-infested night markets elsewhere in the city. Great food and experience here. Recommended.
The most local of any night market tried in Taipei, 2+ blocks of food and shops, great prices, large portions and many local dishes I didn't see anywhere else.
This night market is considered small, but it has plenty of street food options. I would recommend it to those who want to avoid the big crowds in the other well-known night markets.
Definitely like this place and close to my hostel. Is it a little pricey compared with other markets? Taiwanese sashimi is excellent value compared with back home.
Nice balance between food, shopping and entertainment. Sticky tofu, assorted ice, sausages and deep fried chicken...etc. Great access to different public transportation.
This nightmarket is much smaller than Shilin, but located close to Xinyi. It has enough food and I personally like the small gifts and screen protectors.
TONGHUA/LINJIANG NIGHT MARKET Linjiang Street between Tong Hua Street and Keelung Road MRT: Liuzhangli (about 10-15 minute walk) or SYS Memorial Hall (about 20 minute walk)
A small night market compared to some others like Shilin, this one is food oriented and spans just two blocks. Bring a sense of adventure and/or a translator as most signs are in Chinese.
Awfully quiet when we got here@9pm.Perhaps it's cos of d rain.🤔Small-ish compared 2d other mkts.Didn't find it particular exciting so we packed a couple of snacks & headed back 2our hotel in 30min.
