    後北条氏家臣で日尾城の城将であった諏訪部遠江守定勝が鉢形城の家老であった時分に、信州の諏訪神社を守護氏神として分祀奉斎。秩父曲輪の外側にある馬出の中に設けられている。お社の裏手と左側に土塁、周囲には深い堀が残る。
