I was delighted to stumble across this pub during an overnight stay in Wayne. The eclectic, unusual (and large) beer selection immediately pulled me in. The atmosphere has a great vibe.
Solid for beer & alcohol. Mostly average on the food on the "Belgian" side of the house. Tried couple different apps (wings, charcuterie) and four different entrees (kebab, burger, duck). Fine.
Far east mussels are the best, & fried haddock sammy is out of this world. Yes, this is a beer bar,but don't snub the wine- it's one of the best in the area. Just enjoyed a HH brunello @$12. Divine!
Dirtymussels with applewood smoked bacon, a bit of cheese from the impressive board, and 26 beers on tap (including one nitro and two hand-pumps): the staffers serve only what they know and love.
Keep watch on hostesses! Ended up waiting hour+ & we had a baby! They gave table to party that came after us! Hostess made no apologies! Couldn't use baby seat in booth! Pretty hot inside! Food good!
They don't do reservations, so plan to wait on a friday night. Bartenders and (most) wait staff know there stuff though. Ask anything you want about the drinks.
