A hidden gem in Duboce Triangle. Great daily specials. One of my favorite sushi restaurants in SF.

check it out: origami supplies at your table, free edamame if you bring your own chopsticks, $1 sake on rainy days, and randomly issued cash discounts. ALSO, delicious sushis, especially the hamachi.

Sushi/sashimi are fine here, but according to a former employee, other items are from frozen food (meaning, not fresh).

They will serve the walu carpaccio raw (it is usually seared)... ask for it... the butterfish is 20 times better uncooked.
