    Lovely place, tho not the cheapest - have to pay train to poole, boat, and entry. It is a great way to spend an afternoon or even a day - get a tour but be prepared to stop frequently. Café good!

    Lovely walk, beautiful panoramas, but food luck taking photos of the red squirrels, every single one I took blurred, they are quick!

    Great walks. Friendly staff. 200 red squirrels. Lots of wildlife like deer and birds. Birth place of scouting in 1907. All started here

    National Trust look after the Island, you can see Red Squirrels here also nationaly important lagoon for Turns n Spoonbills n other bird species cared for by the DWT.

    As someone else mentioned, it is run by national trust, so unless you are members you will have to pay.
